Never time for a healthy, filling breakfast? Here's your solution in 5 ingredients!

There have been times over the last few weeks where it has been IMPOSSIBLE to eat a proper breakfast, get both boys fed, clean, dressed before one has a royal meltdown! The first thing that gets sacrificed is mummy’s routine; breakfast, shower, brushing hair, cleaning teeth - all gone!
So contending with low energy levels whilst trying to raise tiny humans, exercise, run a business, function as a normal human being is generally a recipe for a stress infused whirlwind! And that’s not pretty!

I came up with a solution - these babies are going to save you. Grab and go style! They’re PACKED with natural, whole foods, superfoods, slow releasing carbs, healthy fats, protein and a dash of natural sugars to get you going.

Fruity Breakfast Bars
Ingredients (base):

  • 3 cups oats
  • ⅓ cup coconut oil
  • ½ cup nut butter (I use peanut or almond)
  • 4 tbsp maple syrup
  • ½ cup mashed banana

(You can stop here after these 5 ingredients or carry on adding to make these super!)

  • 2 tbsp date syrup
  • Handful of raisins, cranberries & goji berries
  • 3 tbsp cacao nibs
  • 2 tbsp sunflower or pumpkin seeds
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • ½ tsp maca powder


Recipe:
Mix it all together, into a lined deep baking tray and cook at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Then hide them so they don’t get eaten all at once! ⭐️
